| Stargazing has come of age with AIT´s Giro-2 TV telescope mount! While the ever so popular Dobson telescope mount offers good stability, it fails to be interchangeable with other optics. Therefore, a rigid and easy to use telescope mounting platform was needed, to accept other kinds of telescopes, such as refractors and catadioptrics. To achieve this goal, AIT joined forces, to create what is a truly amazing telescope mount! Engineered for rigidity, smoothness and ease of operation, Giro-2 TV has no dials and no fiddly computers to mingle with. Giro-2 TV accepts any telescope, up to an astonishing 20 kilograms of body weight and lets you quickly take off on a personal grand tour of the heavens. Stargazers will marvel at the precisely engineered ball bearings that allow the user to move the telescope smoothly and with utmost ease. You can mount one, or even two telescopes on either side of the Giro-2 TV. Giro-2 TV will carry an amazing 40 kilograms of total weight on both axes, without even a hint of vibration or shudder. You really have to see it, to believe it. Giro-2 TV is easy to set up and transport. For optimum results, AIT recommends our specially made AIT wooden tripod, to be covered in more detail further below. However, should the need arrive, any tripod of sufficient stability is adaptable to the Giro-2 TV mount. AIT guarantees Giro-2 TV to be free of any manufacturing defect for a period of 10 years.
